A3 Farms Update MID MAY 2019

Hello A3Farms Customers,
We hope you all are doing well and we are looking forward to seeing you this upcoming weekend.  Jim was busy last weekend, separating lambs from their Moms.  Weaning time!  It was a noisy process, but everyone seems to be doing well.

The lambs are on this side of fence line and Moms on other side with the donkeys.  This is the best way to wean, on opposite sides of the fence line.  Less stress on both lambs and Moms.

MEAT CHICKENS: We will have plenty of frozen chickens for both markets this weekend.  If you have any special requests for sizes, just reply to this email and we will reserve them for you.

LAMB CUTS AND EGGS:
We will have plenty of USDA lamb cuts and eggs for both markets.

We are putting two different sets of young pullets side by side for a few days before putting them in together in the big schooner.  They will then get acclimated to their new home for another few days before going straight on pasture.  Then they will use this schooner to roost at night and will start laying eggs in the fall.

MARKET SCHEDULE: We will be attending the Midway Farmer’s Market this Saturday, May 18th from 9am- 1 pm.
